National Discovery Museum Institute
Museum of Siam, or Discovery Museum, is housed in a 19th century European style building on Sanamchai Road near Wat Po and Grand Palace. It is the place to learn and explore the origins of the Thai people and their culture. You will have fun learning Thai history using new technology and creative activities. The museum contains permanent exhibits of the Thai kingdom and life style from the past to present as well as other exhibits which are rotated throughout the year.

Gem and Jewelry Museum
Located at the ITF Tower Building, Silom Road, it is operated by the Gem and Jewelry Institute of Thailand. Their aim is to enhance knowledge and understanding of Thai gems and jewelry. The exhibits display the origin of various types of gemstones, mineral specimens, cutting styles and history of gemstone mining in Thailand.

Bangkok Seashells Museum
Located on Silom road, It is the first Shell museum in Bangkok. There are more than 3,000 specimens of seashells from around the world. The museum displays many types of shells and fossils setting in beautiful environment, some of which are rare. Located on Charoen Krung 43 road, it is also known as the Bangkokian Museum. The museum displays the lifestyle of the Bangkok middle class during the World War II period and is set in houses surrounded by a garden and a small pond. It also displays an old Bangkokian dressing room, bedroom, kitchen, sanitation and toilet facilities during that time.
